Sirop Co.

So I received a new product that I’m really excited to present to you today. If you haven’t guessed already I’m a huge fan of syrups. Yes I love making my own syrups and I already find alot of the others on sites like Amazon but I am always in favor of supporting smaller companies and sometimes they have some of the most unique flavors. So I came across Sirop Co. kind of randomly. Obviously my feed is aware of my interests but I also don’t buy from every company I see either. I guess you could say I have a formula for my determinations.

  1. Unique quality flavors
  2. Decent price
  3. Versatility

Just tell me why

If I can find it somewhere else cheaper than why wouldn’t I? Plus if I can’t use it for much than why would I want to spend the money. In this case Sirop Co. met all criteria.

So let’s have a look

So I found this company on Instagram. They have beautiful examples of cocktails that use their product. So I decided to take a look at their shop. Here’s what I saw:

On top of the fact that they have some pretty good flavors and they’re always adding new ones, the prices were so low there wasn’t much risk to give one a try.

Here’s a bonus

For those of you watching your sugar intake they offer sugar free versions as well.

Here’s what I got

Now let’s make some cocktails

Now I did say I was going to make some of my own recipes but I quickly realized Earl Grey tea was a little more difficult to pair because I had never incorporated it in my recipes before. So I went over to Sirop Co Instagram page for inspiration and I discovered this :

In their highlights if you click on the syrup you will find a collection of cocktails recipes for that particular flavor. So I decided to change it up a little bit. Their experts so I wanted to see how they showcase it and then from there I can brainstorm new recipes for the future. I decided to pick 2 different recipes so here they are.

Afternoon Tea

  • 1 1/2 oz gin
  • 1 oz Elderflower liquor
  • 3/4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz Earl Grey syrup
  • 1 egg white (or Aquafaba- see my post Let’s crack this open for more info)
  • Lemon peel for garnish

Add all ingredients to the shaker. Dry shake for about 10 seconds. Add ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain and add lemon peel.

**If using aquafaba, first add aquafaba alone and dry shake. You then add ice and shake again. Then add other ingredients and shake one more time.

Now on the cocktail No. 2

A French Afternoon

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 3/4 oz Raspberry liquor
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz Earl Grey syrup
  • Egg white (or Aquafaba)

Add all ingredients and dry shake for about 10 seconds. Then add ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain and and I decided to garnish with a dehydrated lime.

These are just 2 of several recipes. And both were delicious! If you interested check out their Instagram page Sirop_co. It has tons of recipes. Also check out their shop:
